As part of continued progression, my client is currently looking for a Senior Planner to join their team of highly skilled and specialist Consultants working from their Birmingham office.
Responsibilities
The provision of forensic or strategic programme analysis services to the business reporting to our Clients on a range of building and/or engineering projects
Acting as a planning expert in tribunals and mediations projects
Responsibility for planning and programming services to the business demonstrating an ability to improve and innovate whenever possible
Production of reports analysing claims or developing programming strategies
Liaison with Clients on both operational matters and to develop further business opportunities
Managing assignments and the supervision of a team in the successful completion of commissions
Requirements
Substantial experience in claims and dispute resolution, having a good understanding of the construction process
Proven competence in forensic and strategic analysis having undertaken the role of planning expert preferably with experience of having given oral evidence
Client Liaison and Business Development experience
Degree qualified in a relevant construction field
Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators would be an advantage but not essential
Significant experience in the production of associated written reports
Proficient in planning software including Primavera, Microsoft Project

Strong Communication skills - experience of communicating with people at differing levels effectively through oral and written communication
Client Facing skills - experience of working with clients at a strategic/operational level and managing the relationships effectively
Strong Planning and Organising skills - able to prioritise workload and deadlines and manage change effectively
Effective Problem Resolution skills - solution orientated with the ability to manage problems and complaints assertively
Team Work skills - ability to work with and supervise others to achieve team and personal targets or objectives.
